Ladies Night Charity Concert

The Senior School Charity Concert took place this week and the theme this year was “Ladies Night”. The evening was very well attended and began with a celebrity welcome video message from Geri Horner, former Spice Girl and singer-songwriter. Girl power continued with the opening number “Stop” by The Spice Girls, performed by our Staff and Student Choir. The audience were then treated to acappella performances, piano and vocal solos, the Staff Band, strings and the Chamber Choir.

For several girls this was their last ever Charity Concert as they are leaving Upper Sixth in a few weeks time. Congratulations to Francesca Pattinson, Elizabeth O’Connor, Niamh Round and Francesca Pearson on their amazing performances.

The evening also gave girls who went to Ingestre Hall an opportunity to showcase their work from the residential arts weekend. The Year 10 group performed a medley of songs from well known female artists. The Sixth Formers also sang and the finale was all girls from the arts weekend singing “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman.

Our thanks go to all of the staff and students involved in the evening; all monies raised during the concert will be donated to our Senior School Charity Mind.
