Junior School pupils were given £5 to create a business as part of the Young Enterprise Fiver Challenge.
17 companies were formed over a four week period with the aim to make as much profit as possible from their £5 start up funding. The event culminated in a Fiver Challenge Fair when parents were invited into School to visit the businesses with their spending money.
“Following a successful fair, the Junior School Fiver Challenge has now finished and we are delighted to announce that £1,546.16 has been raised for Cancer Research. This has been a valuable experience for the girls in terms of entrepreneurial spirit, teamwork and caring for others. Well done girls and thank you to all of the parents for their support.” Mr Grove, Year 5 Form Tutor
