Green fingers – OK

Celebrating British Science Week – Green fingers – OK (Oxygen, Potassium)

Today, to celebrate British Science Week girls across Senior School came together to explore the important elements needed to grow crops whilst planting their own seeds. This therapeutic and environmental activity was enjoyed by lots of the girls who are studying hard at this busy time of the academic year.  Taking a few minutes out at lunchtime to mindfully think about the effects of Oxygen and Potassium, new plant life will soon form from today.  It was a lovely practical as we head towards Spring, thinking of new life and growth, a hands on and productive Science activity that all could enjoy.  The girls assured the Science department they will share their green fingered success by reporting back on their plant’s progress.
