A number of Scholarships are offered each year for entry in Year 7 to the Senior School. All scholarships are open to both internal and external candidates and are dependent on a girl’s continued achievement.
Girls who achieve a scholarship are expected to commit to their specialism at school events, although it is understood that outside training / rehearsals / performances etc are inevitable. Our expectation is that there will be a dialogue about external activities in advance, for example at the beginning of the school year, to look at potential clashes and issues and agree a way forward. Scholarships may be withdrawn by the Head if this is impossible.
Scholars will be mentored.
Further information about the scholarships on offer for Year 7 2019 entry can be found here.
Several scholarships are awarded annually to pupils entering the Sixth Form. Candidates are required to sit papers assessing a variety of skills and their potential for further study. Those who are shortlisted are interviewed by the Head and the Head of Sixth Form.
From Year 7 the award of fee assistance depends on academic merit and family income. Help with fees is available and families who may be eligible for financial help should complete the fee assistance application form, which will be available at the Parents’ Information Evening on Wednesday 26th September 2018.
