Upper Sixth Leavers

As our Upper Sixth embark on their study leave today, the girls share memories of their time at Saint Martin’s ….. heartfelt words as they look forward to the next chapter of their lives.

Here are some of their quotes:

“Today is my last day at Saint Martin’s; I can honestly say that I never thought I’d have to say those words. Whether you have been here a year or five years, or even a lifetime, you will create memories that will stay with you; we certainly have.”

Niamh Robinson, Head Girl 2014 – 2015

“I’ll never truly be ready to say goodbye to the people that have meant so much to me for so long. But the reality is I’m going to have to, and I want to, but I’m scared. So I’m going to jump in at the deep end, but what Saint Martin’s has given me is you, the Upper Sixth, and I know that every one of you will be there with me, so we can hold hands and jump together.”

Samantha Galbraith, Deputy Head Girl 2014 – 2015

“As it slowly dawns on me that I do actually have to leave this year, I realise that I am leaving behind the home and the family that has helped me to grow into the girl I am today – a confident and fiercely independent young woman.”

Rosie Mann, Deputy Head Girl 2014 – 2015

“As I embark on the next chapter in my life, I will never forget the lessons Saint Martin’s has taught me …. it really is life changing. So when you are in class, cherish the moments you have with your friends and teachers because, sooner or later, you will be up here taking part in your final assembly and it will come, just like that.”

Aanisah Idriss, Senior Prefect 2014 – 2015
