Girls in the Senior School are encouraged to achieve their potential in a wider range of academic, practical, creative and physical activities as possible. The staff aim to make all teaching and learning enjoyable, and through differentiation to stretch the most able, while at the same time supporting those who lack confidence in some areas of the curriculum.
The curriculum extends beyond the National Curriculum. It caters imaginatively for the interests, aptitudes and needs of all pupils who have a positive attitude to learning and consistently achieve high standards. An extensive and stimulating enrichment programme supports the excellent teaching, while study skills and confidence are developed through the PSHE programme. Staff provide high quality support and guidance and know their pupils well.
“We were struck by the commitment and high quality of the teachers in the Senior School…they appear to enjoy their jobs and take pride in what they do.”
