Last Wednesday, Year 4 escaped to Twycross Zoo for the day. This consolidated the girls’ learning about animal teeth and digestion. At the Education Centre the girls saw a variety of animal skulls to compare their sizes and jaws. They had the chance to stroke a furry chinchilla and a scaly cockroach. The girls walked with the lemurs, watched the monkeys in full swing and were mesmorised by the graceful giraffes. We had a fantastic day out and the girls were praised for their exemplary behaviour.
