On Tuesday we hosted the Solihull Primary Schools’ Biathlon when 15 schools joined us with over 150 boys and girls taking part.
The girls swam 25 metres with Rebecca Prosser being our most successful swimmer coming in 1st place for our school. The other top swimmers in the team were Emma Fatoni, Giorgia Cook and Natalia Baker, Lydia Dalley and Frankie Gallagher.
The girls then took part in a 400m run and several of the girls excelled in this event. Freya Gallagher, Rebecca Prosser, Darcie Peers and Juliette Delabrousse recorded some excellent times and were the fastest girls in the run for the school; this is particularly impressive for Juliette who is only in Year 4.
Well done to the other members of the team who also worked so hard and equally achieved some brilliant results for our team. Rosie O’Connor, Darcie Peers, Evie Peers, Isabella Simms, Juliette Delabrousse, Emma Fatoni, Lydia Dalley, Rebecca Prosser, Freya Gallagher, Frankie Gallagher, Isabelle Deakin, Abigail O’Neil, Kaia James, Carys James, Shreya Ramanan, Natalia Baker, Chloe Hall, Giorgia Cook and Natarsha Wadsworth.
The running and swimming times were converted to a points system and we are delighted to announce that Saint Martin’s came in 2nd place overall. 6 girls will be selected to represent Solihull at the Level 3 Regional competition.
