Sikh Gurdwara Sahib Visit for Year 5

Year 5 visited the Sikh Gurdwara Sahib in Warwick yesterday as part of their RE Studies. They were given a tour around the Temple, which is only six years old. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity of having classroom learning enhanced and made tangible.

Hospitality is important to the Sikh community and the girls were offered Parshad (a sweet flour and ghee based food) as they left the main hall and also drinks and biscuits in the Langar hall at the end of their tour.
