Junior School Biathlon

Following on from the Solihull Borough Biathlon a few weeks ago 12 girls from Years 4, 5 and 6 took on a team from Balsall Common over a 50m swim and a 800m run on Tuesday evening.

First up was the 50m swim where Emma Fantoni impressed, recording the fastest time overall at 35.4 seconds. Next the girls headed to the Astro turf to run 800m. Special mention goes to Juliette Jouen Delabousse (3 minutes 29) and Abigail O’Neill (3 minutes 31) recording the fastest overall times.

Taking the top 3 scores from each school Saint Martin’s ran out overall winners with 4836 points to Balsall Common’s 4650.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and to our top 3 Saint Martin’s Biathlon performers:

Abigail O’Neill – 1772 points

Juliette Jouen Delabousse – 1724 points

Isabella Bamford – 1340 points
