Hockey Results

There were several hockey fixtures last week for girls in the Junior and Senior School.

On Monday our Year 7 A and B teams played against Arden. The A team were up against Arden’s Year 8 team and the B team played Year 7. Although we lost both matches the girls gained valuable experience and understanding of tactics.

Monday’s games helped both Year 7 teams when they played Bromsgrove on Wednesday. The A team were much more competitive and drew the match 1 – 1. It was a game of end to end hockey and both teams played well.  The B team also showed improvement and although they lost 1 – 0, they played well and battled hard.

On Friday the Year 5 and 6 teams played against Bablake School. Both teams played really well and gained useful experience of skills and techniques in match play.  Lydia Dalley was named Player of the Match in the B team.

The A team won 2 – 0 with Giorgia Dalley scoring both goals and being named Player of the Match by Bablake.

Well done to every player for your hard work, skills and determination.
