GCSE Results 2014 – bucking the national trend

Mastering the new linear exams system, over 20% of grades were again at A*. Bucking the national trend of harder exams, 80% of girls gained A* to B in both English and Maths. 41% of Geography grades were at A* and the Art Department were overjoyed with their 95% A* and A; these results illustrate the breadth of talent and achievement in the School.

Jane Carwithen, Head of Saint Martin’s said, “I am thrilled with the individual successes of all our girls who will go on to achieve great things in the future.  Along with our outstanding A Level results I couldn’t have had a better send off after my 39 years in teaching!”
