The Future of the Arctic

Nobel Peace Prize winner Professor Terry Callaghan delivered a fascinating lecture on the Rapidly Changing Arctic at a recent meeting of the Geographical Association.

Some of our Sixth Form and Year 11 Geographers were privileged to hear him share his thoughts on the impacts of climate change and future challenges and opportunities in this varied region. Using his 48 years of experience the Professor of Arctic Ecology from the University of Sheffield helped the audience to see how the Arctic is changing and why the changes are exceptionally difficult to manage.
