Dining through the Decades Charity Lunch

Girls and staff were delighted to welcome guests from Marie Curie Solihull Hospice in to School last week. Lynn Wood, Fundraising Manager, Anne Lavery, Member of the Development Board, Suzanne McArthur, Community Palliative Care Lead, and Ruth Keeble, Day Services Sister joined Nicola Edgar, Head for a retro-themed fundraising lunch. The Catering Team led by Sue Frain designed a menu for the day, starting with daffodil cupcakes and biscuits at break time. As the School is celebrating its 75th birthday this year, the lunch theme was “Dining through the Decades”. The menu included dishes such as prawn cocktail, spam fritters, corned beef hash, banana splits and black forest gateau.


The School were delighted to raise funds for the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal through the purchase of daffodil lapel badges and donations during the charity lunch.
