The Charity Fashion Show organised by Shelby Phillips in the Upper Sixth was a huge success. A touch of glamour was added to the School Hall as models (Sixth Formers, parents and teachers!) strutted their stuff on the catwalk.
Belle Diva, based in Knowle provided the gorgeous outfits and there were fabulous contributions from other local businesses including Freak Le Chic, Le Scarpe, Perspectives, Zebra Kids, Chanel at John Lewis and Jane McKenzie Jewellery. Special thanks must go to the talented team from Aesthetics Solihull who transformed the models’ hair in very little time backstage!
Most importantly over £800 was raised for the two school charities, CORE and the Stroke Association, an amazing start to our year of fundraising. Shelby who organised this as part of her Extended Project Qualification presentation was thrilled with the outcome and staff are very proud of her achievement.
