The Big Draw is a nationwide campaign to get everybody involved in drawing. In its 14th year it has as its patrons Sir Quentin Blake, famous for his illustrations of Roald Dahl’s books, Sir Norman Foster, the British Architect, David Hockney, one of the greatest living British artists and Gerald Scarfe, a satirical cartoonist, amongst others.
This year the whole School from Alice House to the Sixth Form, girls and staff, took part. The theme was “Some of My Favourite Things”. The entries will be on display in the School Dining Room on Prize Giving Evening.
The campaign aims to eliminate the words from peoples’ vocabulary “I can’t draw!”
