Royal Wedding Celebrations April 2011

Girls in Alice House and Junior School have enjoyed a special picnic lunch in the sunshine in the School grounds to celebrate the Royal Wedding. The royal themed feast included Union Jack iced cakes and girls in Alice House wore red, white and blue clothes for the day.

The celebrations continued after lunch for girls in Alice House with a Royal Wedding Treasure Hunt, traditional party games and a Wedding Story, with girls making a souvenir bookmark and decorated biscuits to take home. 

Mrs Pimlott, Nursery teacher, said “It is important to mark the occasion of the Royal Wedding and I’m sure that the girls will remember our Royal Picnic for years to come.”
