Saint Martin’s School aims to provide an all-round education of the highest quality in a safe, happy, supportive and stimulating environment. All staff give generously of their time and energy to enhance the educational experience and to give support to the girls both in and out of the classroom.

The School consistently achieves impressive academic results, whilst providing a supportive community with excellent pastoral care. Our excellent A-level results in summer 2018 saw a 100% pass rate across all subjects. An impressive 91% of grades received were A* – C and over a quarter of all grades were A* and A. Our GCSE class of 2018 achieved a fantastic set of results, some of the best in the school’s history and featuring the largest ever haul of A* grades. An impressive 37% of all grades were A* (8 or 9 in the new system of marking), while 82% of marks were A*, A and B (6-9) and 62% were A* or A (7, 8 and 9).  In 2018 Attainment 8 tables we have been ranked 1st in the Borough above all other state and independent schools. These brilliant results are testament to our superb teaching staff and the high academic achievements of our girls.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Applicants must undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and DBS and barred list checks
