Additional Charges
Recurring additional charges, which are charged in advance on fee accounts, are lunches (except Sixth Form), entrance fees for public examinations, personal accident and other optional insurance, and Year 11 and Sixth Form Games. Charges for other activities, which have been agreed by parents, may appear at times. Payment of fees is due on or before the first day of term.
Parents from whom payment has not been received on or before the first day of term may be liable for an administration charge on the amount outstanding at the rate agreed by Governors from time to time (currently 2%). The same charge will be applied at intervals notified by the Bursar if payment is not subsequently received. A returned cheque/payment attracts an administration charge (currently £25).
Notice of the intention to withdraw a pupil must be given in writing not later than the first day of the term at the end of which the pupil is to be withdrawn, or fees will be due for an additional term. No notice is required for a pupil leaving at the end of the Upper Sixth Form.
